Ignore symbols for “Use Focus Keyword in the URL”

    The plugin needs to ignore any symbols in the focus keyword. At the moment it ignores the symbol if it’s in the last position. But if there is another word after the symbol, it will fail.

    For example focus keyword “Example Question? Test”
    slug is “example-question-test”

    It should pass it. But it won’t because of the question mark in the focus keyword.

    Thank you for contacting the support and sorry for the inconvenience caused.

    We were able to replicate this on our end. We have reported this to the devs and they will look into it. We are constantly working on improving the content analysis and the way it detects focus keywords in the content.

    For now, you can simply ignore the test as it is only a suggestion, and failing it because of the way our plugin detects the keywords will not have any negative effect on your site’s SEO.
