Ignore Side Column Text

  • Is it possible to set Relevanssi to ignore side column text? The problem I’ve noticed is that when there is a recent post about “Steve Jobs” listed in the side column under “Recent Posts,” every article post ends up being a match because “Steve Jobs” has been indexed with that article because of its occurrence in the side column.

    Relevanssi does not index sidebar widgets at all, so the problem you’re seeing is actually caused by something else.
