Ignore mail state not working

    if i understand that correctly setting the option “Ignore mail state” to “No” means that only unread emails are imported. did i get that right?

    if this is the case then this is not working for me.

    what i currently try to do:
    i use pop and changed “Check for mail every: ” to “check manually”.
    now i mark one mail as unread in my inbox. now if i use the button “Process Email” only this one should be imported, but sadly every email in the inbox is imported.

    am i missing something?

    You have happened upon something I should clarify. The “Ignore mail state” setting only applied to IMAP.

    thanks for the info.

    i read up on the protocols and it seems to be something pop cannot do making it a problem that cannot be fixed. therefore you should add that info to the description of the option. something like “(IMAP only)”.
