    Hi,

I’ve recently updated to the latest VFB Pro with the create user add-on. I have a website where people have to fill the form to subscribe to an activity, once a year.

I need to use my form to create a username, but I also need it to ignore when the username is already taken so that if they can still use the form with their current username. Basically, if they enter an existing username with the right password, I’d like it to override the fact that the username is already in use. The plugin used to be able to do that, but it doesn’t work anymore. Is there a way I can modify it?

    Thanks!

This has been addressed in version 2.2.1.

    Hello,

I just updated and it still isn’t working; maybe I’ve explained it wrong. What I meant is that I would like people who already have an account to still be able to fill the form, using their existing username and password.
The way it is right now, if I try to fill the form with an existing account, it says “[username] is already in use” and doesn’t let me fill up the form any further.

    Thank you

I see. Yes, that is different.

Either way, the vfb_field_default hook was added in 2.2 and that’s what you should use.
