    Hey all,

Is there a way to tell the checker to not flag certain manual checks? I have a client who insists on linking images, so I get the ‘Manual check: link contains both text and an image” on virtually every page. I’d like to tell the checker to ignore that for this particular site.

    Thanks!

    Stephanie

If the client is up for learning — that should only appear if there is both text in the link and alt text on the image. If they have visible text and leave the alt blank (or vice versa), no alert should be thrown.

If not…well…this looks like another vote for “per test parameters,” which is perched at the top of the feature requests

But I don’t expect to get to it until mid-next-year. So in the meantime — if you set the “Do not flag these elements” option on the plugin config page to “a img“, it will disable all alt text checks on images inside links.
