    Hello,

I have recently found a mail from stripe stating that IFTT is going to expire soon.

    Here is the mail:

We’re writing to you because your Channel McGilchrist account has been using the IFTTT integration with Stripe. All Stripe IFTTT (“If-this-then-that”) applets will be deactivated on May 26th. To see if you use any active IFTTT Stripe applets, visit ifttt.com/home and filter for “Stripe”.

Any active IFTTT recipes using the Stripe applet will cease to function once the service is deactivated.

But I am not using any other stripe plugin and this is confusing me. What will be the impact of this change? Can you please enlighten me?

    Thanks

    Hi @nayanboost,

The email you have received is not from Stripe.com or WooCommerce.com and is instead from a third party website called https://ifttt.com/ which you’re using.

The IFTTT (If This Then That ) is not a WooCommerce plugin but a Web/iPhone/Android app that allows for advanced automation configurations of different web services. The email you’ve received from IFTTT is indicating that you have configured a Stripe applet using their services and those configured IFTTT services will be deactivated on the on May 26th.

Any active IFTTT recipes using the Stripe applet will cease to function once the service is deactivated. For further assistance regarding recipes and applets configured using the IFTTT service, you should reach out to the IFTTT team.
