I am trying to add a post and include an iFrame code into it. When I try to add the code it dissapears.

I am going into the HTML section and then Pressing Code, pasting the iframe code, then /code. When I switch back to Visual, the code is Gone and NO frame appears.

Can anyone she some light on this subject for me?

Are you trying to have a functional iframe or just show a code example of one by using the code tag to showcase it?

Never switch back and forth between the visual and html editors because it will mess up your code. These editors do things very differently, so you should only use one or the other. The visual editor is not a preview tool, that is what the Preview button is for. If you will be adding your own code, stick to the html editor and disable the visual editor in your dashboard profile.

    Ditto.

I don’t think users shouldn’t be able to switch between editors, I think WordPress should leave the code as it is.

We can’t even add a Google Maps iFrame, like this:

    <iframe width="530" height="400" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" src="https://maps.google.com/maps/sv?cbp=12,12.379594436245497,,1,11.819706184910052&amp;cbll=37.420867,-122.083049&amp;panoid=&amp;v=1&amp;hl=en&amp;gl="></iframe>

When switching to the visual editor, it vanishes. Please fix that, WP!

A possible solution for iframe and HTML is the use of a spezial plugin. A review ist here:
