    Hi there,
how do you block iframe videos before a user accepts cookies?
Previously we used [cookie_after_accept] and it worked perfectly.
Now it doesn’t and we can’t find any info about this.

    Thanks

    Hi @boeris,

    Greetings from CookieYes!

There has been a significant modification to the plugin’s code and user interface with the release of our revamped plugin. The script blocking is now carried out automatically following a cookie scan of the website. Once you’ve completed the cookie scanning, the plugin will prevent the Youtube iframe from loading until the site visitor consents. As a result, no additional implementation using shortcodes is required. Please let us know with the help of a screen recording if you have any trouble blocking YouTube videos on your website. We shall examine your website.

Hi and thanks for your answer.
We had to change our iframes from nocookie-youtube.com to youtube as they we’re not blocked automatically.
We still want to use the advanced privacy version of youtube instead of youtube but as far as we tried we can’t.
With normal youtube embeds it works ok.

    Hi @boeris,

The Youtube nocookie URL does not set any cookies until you press the play button. The user then continues to receive cookies without their consent. Google refers to this approach as the “delayed cookie option” for this reason. As a result, it is preferable to add the code as a yotube.com embed so that our plugin will automatically block it until the site visitor consents.
