So far, we’ve used the free version of the WP SMTP plugin on our client sites with no problem. We integrate one of their recommended vendors, SMTP.com, for the authorized SMTP accounts. Works like a champ.

Been on the fence about upgrading to get the pro features, just haven’t pulled the trigger yet.
