  • You asked them how to tweak YOAST and GOOGLE, they told you how to do that, and you decided they were pushing “services” on you that you didn’t want.

    I’ve read through the rest of your TOPICS CREATED and this reaction is consistent. You start by insulting everyone that they’re plugins don’t work (ironically on some of the most popular plugins with thousands of successful users), they respond on how to do what you want, and then you accuse them of being idiots, saying none of what they suggest will work because you read something somewhere that it didn’t work for some other problem, and so rather than DOING WHAT THEY SAID, you give them a low review.

    On the off chance you might be willing to ACTUALLY LEARN SOMETHING today, this plugin works with a database and generates URLS when the pages are created. That’s how THIS PLUGIN WORKS. ALL “generation” plugins work that way. It allows you to store tons of info, but the trade-off for these plugins is that the pages are therefore GENERATED when you load the page. It avoids having to create individual pages with each photo on it or manually creating galleries, but those “useless URLS” are common to every database plugin.

    Yoast thinks it lowers your score (the evidence is weak on that since Google knows what database URLs look like and tends to ignore them, as opposed to the real blank URLs that DO lower scores, but it is really in comparison if you manually put all your stuff into individual pages rather than databases) and to avoid “problems” caused by YOAST’s interactions with generation plugins, their software gives you the option to disable those URLs within THEIR plugin…if you were paying attention, you would see that was a PROBLEM WITH THE WAY YOAST handles database content, not a problem with the other plugin. In short, that’s not a BUG, that’s the way database URLs work.

    If you decide that you want to NOT have those database URLs in your rankings, you have three choices:

    a. Tell YOAST not to index them (that’s why that options in YOAST);

    b. Tell GOOGLE not to index them through one of the two methods that they gave you (the console or editing robots.txt, whichever is easier for you); or,

    c. Don’t use any plugin, manually create all the gallery pages yourself, and upload all the images to your image library and let it bloat beyond capacity.

    Hopefully, your continued rudeness and obvious stupidity are starting to be noticed by more than me. You should be banned from the forums, particularly as these are all free plugins and the people offering support have better things to do with their life than deal with the likes of you.

    Seriously dude, you need professional help, and I don’t mean IT-related.

    @polywogg you need help ! you wrote almost a book about someone who wrote that it is not working for him. You should be banned .. not him but you according to the rest of your replies. Nextgen is not even your plugin.
