If you see “PayPal Integration: NOT WORKING”

  • Make 1000% (OK, just very) certain that you haven’t copied a spurious space in any of the three PayPal API credential bits (the user, the password and the signature) because just one tiny preceding or trailing space will bring the display of the Olimometer to a screetching halt.

    It happened to me: I went into the PayPal API credentials page, then copied and pasted the values into Olimometer and… Nothing. The thermometer was shown but no advancing of the thermometer, anytime a donation was made. Maddening. Until I decided to carefully check and delete any space. Boom – problem solved.

    So there. Leave. No. Space. Behind.
