If we have a Woocommerce extension do we have to connect?

Hi, just have a quick question. I’ve noticed my sites now have a WC notification saying, Connect your store to WooCommerce.com to receive extensions updates and support.
We have the Catalog Visibility Options extension installed on multiple sites. Do I have to connect to the WC website to get those updates, or do they still come through WP?
I manage the sites for my company, and don’t know the WP login for my boss (if there is one), just the old WC login (with username/password).
Just wondering if I can ignore the message, or if I have to connect each site now. Thanks!
