If SoundCloud still doesn't work after the update…

  • The SoundCloud update still broke one of my custom fields from the Advanced Custom Fields plugin after the 2.2.2 fix for WP 3.9.

    What I had to do is reinstall WP 3.9 over the existing copy of 3.9, (push the update button) then all was fine.

    So if you haven’t already, make sure to update SC first then do your upgrade to 3.9.

    At least that is what worked for me

  • Hi,

    even after upgrading to 2.2.2 as well as reinstalling 3.9 as suggested by you I have a conflict between TinyMCE and soundcloud.

    I have to say that I use a premium theme dynamix from themeva in combination with VisualComposer.

    However soundcloud still interferes with the visual editor of WP3.9 and makes changes impossible.

    Any further suggestions?
