No, It shows because it is included in the theme.

You’ll need to contact the authors of your theme for help with that. View Counts are not a core WP feature.

well, (1) without knowing what theme you’re using or (2) without a link to your site, there’s not much I can do. And, given that it’s a theme-specific problem, it’s really up to the authors.
