Hi, so from when I installed the plugin my users are getting in without any issue, but for me to login the only way is to go on the FTP deactivate Pie Register, login from wp-admin and then reactivate the plugin.

why is this happening? what I’m I missing?

    thanks

    Hi,

What error message you are getting when you login as admin ?

    Thanks

I’m getting “Error: Invalid username or password. Lost your password?” but if pie register is deactivated the password works.

Strange! Please try changing your password. If still it doesn’t let you login then we need to look in to your website and debug the issue. Please share your details here on our contact form.

    Thanks

yes, changing the password solved the issue, now that you say, I remember having the same issue with other sites with pie register, and in both cases the admin changed the password and managed to get in. why does it happens?

    Hi,

“Invalid username or password” message shows when PR couldn’t validate user’s username or password. That’s why we ask you to try changing your password. Can you share your previous password which was not working, so we can debug why PR plugin failed to verify that password.

    Thanks

yes, the password was one generated by wordpress: 2z^EBT^sGz%7*#SC

hope it helps, thanks for the support
