If invalid send-to email, inquires stored on WP?

  • My client recently switched servers and did not remember to create her [email protected] email which is tied to the contact form. Clients submitted form and received the “form submitted successfully”. If email address is not on server, can the inquiry information be retrieved? Is it stored on WP some where.

    I have a feeling the information cannot be retrieved, but wanted to check if there was a chance. Thank you

  • You’re right it’s gone.

    Many experienced WP users also use a plugin like Advanced Contact form 7 DB to also save CF7 form submissions for when things go wrong like this.

    Yup. Thanks for confirming … the internet ate them! ?? Didn’t figure they’d be there, but needed someone smarter than me to make sure. I usually set-up everything for the client so there usually isn’t an issue, but will use the DB plugin from now on!
