If Import… doesn’t work, try try again

Apologies if this is a documented FAQ or solution on the Forums, but I couldn’t find it…just worked it out.

After Exporting from one WP 2.5.1 site and Importing into another WP 2.5.1 site I found that not all information was imported – posts, categories, images, etc.

As the destination site was a test site I just did it again, then again until all the information looked up to date. It seems to do a decent job of not importing information that already exists so worked quite well.

One of the main problems is importing images from source site which i think causes timeout issues with the site.

Is the Import feature more robust in 2.7.1?
