    If I need to clone a website that already has this installed, how would I go about DE-activating this plugin and deleting which security files so that the “cloned” site does not have permalinks or other URL issues ?

    Hi,

    The plugin will switch to the old paths after you deactivate it.
    It’s better you deactivate it before you move it and activate it after that.
    The new paths will be back after activation.
