If I could test it for free I’d probably buy it

  • But I cannot find any way of downloading the LR plugin without paying.

    I’m not paying for a plugin that I cannot test first. And I don’t consider paying first and getting a refund if it doesn’t work as expected or clashes with another plugin an acceptable way of doing business.

    It’s shame as this sounds like a decent plugin.

    There was a trial before but technically it caused too many issues. And I always been giving refunds to users who couldn’t make it work. Otherwise you would have seen complains somewhere.

    The WordPress plugin is free however, and usable by developers to make many external apps using its API.

    To be honest, I buy products a few times a week and for most of them there is no trial. And even if there is a trial, I prefer a good refund policy, with a support which reply fast and actually refund me without trying to keep me by any means.

    @gary, how could you rate the plugin if you weren’t able to use it, yet? And why 2 stars, and not 1 oder 3 ?

    @muchfun I wrote the review five months ago, so I can’t remember the exact logic of my decision regarding the rating. So from memory:

    I believe it was based around the fact that it is not made immediately obvious that this plugin does not work unless you purchase the Lightroom plugin to go with it. This resulted in my wasting a lot of time trying to work out how to get a trial version of the software to test before buying.

    My thought process was that a rating of 3 for a plugin I couldn’t test was too positive, 1 too negative, 2 seemed just right. It warns people that there is a possible issue if like me they prefer to try before they buy.

    Hi @gsallman,

    I haven’t checked, but did you try the plugin eventually? I mean, you could, since I would refund you without any question if you ask (that’s mentioned in the store since the beginning).

    That would be interesting to have real feedback on what it does and how it helps you. I am asking because I know that it is likely that you would be pleasantly surprised ??
