If Account Exists, Don’t install

  • This does not work for existing accounts. It will make a new (undeletable) account and make verification extremely aggravating. It may not work for new accounts either, as I tried that as well to no avail. After 4 hours of trying, it’s a no go for me and everyone I recommend plugins to. There isn’t any troubleshooting that can be done, and logs show nothing. I guess buy the plugin that does work for $79, or maybe that’s the ploy.

    I’d love to learn more about your existing account. The extension does and should work with existing accounts. If you are perhaps using an Advanced Multi Client account then that is a different story.

    I’d love to understand the difficulties you had with verification. Again I’m sorry the process was aggravating – out team and designers have tried extremely hard to make verification as seamless as possible – so if there is an edge case for us to fix/improve I’d be interested in following it up.

    Just confirming – are you saying the google-listings-ads-xxxx.log log file under WooCommerce > Status > Logs didn’t have anything at all?

    Can I use my existing account with this plugin or this plugin will create new ad account?

    You can use an existing Google Merchant Center account with this plugin.

    From the plugins’ documentation:

    Integrate with Google Merchant Center to upload your store and product data to Google. Your products will sync automatically to make relevant information available for free listings, Google Ads, and other Google services. You can create a new Merchant Center account or link an existing account to connect your store and list products across Google.
