• Hello,

Basically I have a major issue. I have around 800 products in my store that I imported through WP All Import, each has two variations ‘No Lining’ and ‘Lining’ and at the moment both have the same price. What I would like is when ‘Lining’ is selected increase the price of the product by 20%. Is there any way to do this? Or have some sort of additional option that increases by 20% when selected?

    Many thanks in advance.

Why don’t you just increase the price of the “lining” variation with 20% (it would need to be a fixed value)?

Not possible because I have around 500 products each with different prices.

Maybe WooCommerce is set up a little different on your site than the one where I work, but at my company’s website, WooCommerce forced me to add a price for each variation. This was a little annoying, as there is no parent price and we simply offer 8 color variations. This also means sale prices have to be adjusted on each individual variation price.

I’ve often wished we had the option to set a parent price for the product, and then to set each variation to either match the parent price, or increase it by a $ or % amount.

If you ever figure out how to do this, I’d love to know.

Any news or finds on this from anyone?

This would be amazing, it seems mad, given the laborious process of updating each variation with a price, that we can’t set a base price increase for variations rather than individual prices.

I did however find this if anyone else may find it useful…I’ve not bought yet, but think I will!
