I’ve read the documentation here (https://docs.wordfence.com/en/Falcon_Cache), but I just wanted to clarify the use case for Falcon cache.

Is it fine to enable Falcon cache on an https website that uses WooCommerce? Or is that an example of a website that shouldn’t have Falcon cache?

Also, if it is a content website that has https enabled, but it has forms that users submit personal details on, is that okay to enable Falcon cache on?

  • Hi wmboy,
Yes, it’s fine to use Falcon cache along with WooCommerce plugin, as per WooCommerce documentation here, they added DONOTCACHEPAGE constant on certain pages that can’t be cached and this constant is supported in Wordfence as mentioned here.

Regarding your second question, I think you will need to weigh-in before deciding whether these pages can be cached or not, maybe answering this question would help? ??

Is it OK to take all the information in the SSL pages you are caching and publish that information on the front page of the New York Times? If the answer is yes, then it’s OK to enable this option.

BTW, I just want to make sure that you know how to exclude certain pages from being cached by Falcon cache.

    Thanks.

Thanks for your response @wfalaa, actually I’d missed the cache exclusion options, so that makes a lot more sense now!
