IE8 Support

    Hi, thanks for resolving my previous issue (which was down to my own CSS overides).

    I have another little issue, which is to do with IE8 compatibility.

    I have made the site work in IE8 using html5shiv.js and respond.min.js – however the carousel now looks a little squashed – as if the image size hasn’t responded.

    Is there a work around for this?

    Hi gcwebbyuk,

    There’s a section about internet explorer 8 compatibility on the bootstrap documentation, have you done all of the things listed there?

    Specifically, I’ve had weird problems in ie8 due to compatibility mode before. This is likely to be a trickier problem than your CSS override problem though ?? Do you have a link demonstrating the behaviour again?

    Hi Phil

    Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

    The IE8 issue with height seems to be due to a slight discrepancy in my image heights – which is now fixed.

    My next issue is getting my css to work differently in IE8…
