IE8 browser support

    i just checkout 1.4.0 version (right before the bootstrap3.1 upgrade) from github. I have wordpress 3.8.1. I get errors like:
    Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘top’ of undefined
    Uncaught TypeError: Cannot call method ‘hasClass’ of undefined
    when i try to edit the page and can’t open the light box to edit a text box.

    Any suggestions?
