    Just testing this plugin for in-house IT support and it seems great except when the end user uses IE11 (our default) the messages sent from the agent don’t come through.

    After checking the console the problem was traced to line 40 in chatbox.js which is audio[0].play();

    If I comment this line out everything works perfectly, except the sound for the user, but that is not an issue to me.

    The problem is that I don’t want to have to remember to comment this line out every time I update the plugin.

    Any ideas how I could fix this?
