• I’m having a weird issue with my right sidebar in Internet Explorer. My page looks good in Mozilla browsers but IE pushes my right sidebar all the way to the bottom of the main body and under the left sidebar, and the javascript hover features aren’t working there either.

I’m stumped. Can someone take a look at it for me and offer ideas? It’s at https://www.deadpan.net/pie/

(I have two themes offered there, it’s Slick that’s having the trouble.)

  • Your bottom post (the girl quiz) has a picture that is too wide for the width of your content area: notice it’s wider than the other posts! It means every post that has a too wide pic or something in it will push down your sidebar.

Oooooooohhhhhhhh. Okay, I feel like an idiot now. But thanks for figuring that part out for me. ??

Any ideas on the no-highlighting-sidebar-boxes hover thing?

Reviving an old issue here… This problem is still occurring. It seems the problem wasn’t a too-wide picture after all since that picture is off the front page now but the right sidebar is still aligning at the bottom left.

Can someone take a look and offer suggestions about what’s causing this? https://www.deadpan.net/pie

    Thanks.

try taking out things in your sidebar one by one…if you take something out and it fixes it, you’ll know where the problem is. When you find it, decrease the width of it.

The picture in question wasn’t in the right sidebar, it was in the main content column. Content in the right sidebar isn’t the issue.
