• Nothing on my Home page or About page shows up in Internet Explorer. I have tried copying and pasting from different text editors with the same effect. I even tried typing it straight into the wordpress editor and it still doesn’t show up on IE. I also uploaded a photo that doesn’t show up in Internet Explorer either. I read another post somewhere that said it has something to do with a TAG < IE 9 but there was no more information about it. Any ideas?

  • Yes – a link to your site would help…

In the meantime, make sure that you haven’t pasted in content from Microsoft Word as the pasted text will also contain Word’s own formatting. Sooner or later, this formatting will stop your pages from being displayed correctly (if at all) in Internet Explorer. If you cannot possibly manage without Word, paste your text into NotePad (or another text editor) first, then copy from NotePad into WordPress.

    Hi esmi!

I used the link you posted in your reply and that seems to work. The blog posts are showing up in Internet Explorer. There is another problem I just noticed with IE though. None of the category listings are showing and the About me page is all jacked up compared to the way it looks in Mozilla’s Firefox browser. Is WordPress compatible with all browsers? If not I’m going to have to look for other blogger software that is. My Internet Explorer Browser has factory default settings that I have never tampered with. The majority of people using IE are clueless how to change browser settings on their computers. I need a blogger software that can work with every browser regardless of its settings. By the way my website is https://www.biomedicaltechnician.org

WordPress is but not all themes are. And content that you have added may cause problems in some browsers.

Try using a css Browser selector: https://rafael.adm.br/css_browser_selector/ you will be able to apply custom css to target ie and all other browsers.

The content you pasted in from Word needs to be cleaned up.
