IE only: broken image icon showing – but image is loading

    I am having an odd problem with Nivo Slider (but possibly just IE issue?) – in all other browsers, the slider works fine. But in IE (8 & 9), a little box with a red X (the icon for a broken image) appears in the upper lefthand corner of each image – even though the images are definitely loading! I’m just pulling an image and a destination link, no other images being called anywhere. Can anyone help?
