IE menu dropdowns not showing

Hi,

I’ve created my own theme but when I test in IE (10,9,8 &7) none of the dropdowns show up. I’ve done some forum searching and haven’t found a fix/hack that works, what am I doing wrong (I’ve even tried to add the csshover3.htc but that doesn’t seem to work either) ?
