IE is adding image/caption resize handles in Editor
-
Hi, I’ve spotted that IE is showing resize handles for images and/or the caption container when in the Editor. So if you have an image in your content; normally you are supposed to click the Edit Image button and use the given percentages to resize the image if you wish. But the latest version of IE on two computers I’ve tested is giving you the ability to resize either the image; or the caption box, but in my testing it seams to work in making an image smaller via inline style width, but you cant undo that with the same handles method.
Anyway .. . I’ve tried to find a way to disable resize handles with no joy yet. What is going on here? I’ve read people who want the handles, but surely WP is not intended to use these resize handles? I assume it’s just IE adding its own unwanted stuff; again?! (because its really buggy anyway; rendering issues etc)
I tried this method but its not working: https://nickw101.wordpress.com/2011/02/25/disabling-image-resizing-in-ie-contenteditable-elements/
Any thoughts? Thanks.
