I am using FAlbum, the plugin that pulls the pics off of my Flickr account.

I enabled friendly URLs so that “/photos/” will point to the plugin’s PHP file within the plugins folder. So I create a link on my sidebar using the “/photos/”.

It works like a charm in Firefox and I never bothered to test it on IE. It turns out that, on IE, it gives a 404 error, either by clicking the link or actually typing https://www.example.com/photos/ in the address bar.

I switched off friendly URLs for FAlbum, and changed the hyperlink in the sidebar, and voila, it works like a charm. But now I’m left with an ugly long URL.

Any insights? Does IE have trouble handling friendly URLs?

    Thanks

UPDATE: even when I change the hyperlink to the actual path, it may load the main album page but clicking the photos again gives a 404 error.
