• I am on a mac, mostly using safari. With IE 5.2 for mac my site is looking ok but the thumbnail images are not showing up (at the bottom), and on Firefox 0.8 the text color is coming out blueish purple, and the grey is around the top logo is going onto either side. Also, when I loked today at it from the pc’s at work on IE, the logo didnt even show up. I know IE is supposed to stink with css but is there anything I can do? Thanks

  • 1) Your header image is called in a ‘odd’ manner … </img>? Just close <img …. /> ??
    2) Try using /blog/images/banner.jpg path.
    3) IE 5.2 Mac is the worst browser in the world, so don’t worry about it. Anyone using IE 5.2 on a Mac needs major therapy. I use Firefox 0.8 almost exclusively and I don’t see the blueish colours you mention.

There are hacks out there to hide various CSS functions from IE Mac. Try googling for them or perhaps check out https://www.communitymx.com for their free CSS articles
