Idiot: FernandoPress

  • I was thinking about the back end of WP 2.0+ and wondering why some people have been frustrated with the new look and feel.

    As is my tradition, in an effort to see and learn more about this I managed to make the admin interface less colorful, and much, much harder to read.

    If you like small type (which I really do) and can’t stand the words “blog” or “dashboard” in reference to anything you do, then maybe my work has not been in vain.

    12 hours later there’s a lot more I would (and will) do.

    But I am relieved and pleased with the small type, and added space.

    I am a fan of Fernando’s work, always you have a cool look. Someday I hope to have you redesign a site for me, with the corrupted edges and fonts and such.

    I would like to see more screenshots? What is your new word instead of Dashboard? Better, how about replacing what is ON this page, not just the name of it? The WP-related RSS contents of Dashboard is dense and meaningless to my Registered users.

    However I have not upgraded to WP2, so cannot test this plugin now.
