I’m having difficulty identifying a stylesheet in Firebug.

My child theme’s style sheet is referenced in the style panel along with the parent theme’s style sheet, but there’s also a style sheet reference with my site url and “#6” after it. How can I indentify this style sheet? Is it WordPress core, or a plug-in?

The problem is: my Google font choice in my child theme is being overidden by this “mystery” stylesheet and I need to find out why it’s interfering.

Odd thing is that there’s no problem on my MAMP setup, while it’s a problem on the actual URL site.

  • This may be a plugin. Try deactivating all your plugins to see if that fixes it.

That’s what I’m thinking, that it’s a plug-in. I’m just wondering if there is a way to identify the style sheet by way of Firebug instead of deactivating the plug-ins? There are line numbers being referenced from this mystery style sheet.

Hmmm…not sure about how that works in Firebug actually. I would look for a plugin that does something with the front end just by the name or the description and try deactivating these plugins.

Well…. turns out that I completely forgot that we had a Google Fonts Plug-in that was active and not really needed since it was for a redesign we changed out of a couple years ago!

So somehow that was conflicting with the import code that I added to the style sheet.

I turned off the plug-in and all was well.

    Thanks for your help, Nikhil!
