    Hi Joris –

I am having an issue with identifier_exists. I have tried:
    static_value set to yes
dynamic value set to plugin calculation
deleting the field entirely since the default to Google is yes and that’s what I want

All 3 tests output identifier_exists no in the feed, even in the case where the field was deleted. I have refreshed many times so don’t think it’s a cache issue. The plugin is also putting identifier_exists out of order in the feed. It’s way up in the second position rather than at the bottom of each item like I have it configured.

    Thanks, Karen

P.S We have input upc in as a product attribute so that is resolved for us. Your plugin is best we have seen for allowing strong categorization of products.

I have a feed submitted to Google merchant center and it is giving me warnings about the fact that I have mpn, gtin and brand but have set identifier_exists to no. All of our products have the required identifiers so I’d like to delete this field altogether since Google sets default to yes. Any idea how I can remove this field?

    Hi Karen,

Do you still have the project running? If so, could you:

Go to the “Manage feeds” page and add this to your URL &debug=true

Your URL should look something like this now:
    ….wp-admin/admin.php?page=woosea_manage_feed&debug=true

On the screen you should now see a box with a red line on the left side. Could you copy / past the content of that box and e-mail it to me ([email protected])? It will help me to understand how exactly you have configured your product feed and what the processing status of them is.

    Thank you very much.

    All the best,
    Joris

    Hi Karen,

Thanks for sending me the debug information. I was able to identify the issue and solve it. Just download the latest version of our plugin (version 1.5.5) and than you should be ok again.

Let me know if it works out for you.

    Best,
    Joris
