    Hi guys,

We are looking for your input as we develop the plugin further. We are always interested in improving the user experience, so let us know if you have any ideas or suggestions.

We are especially interested in how we can help users better display their Tweets on their websites and how we can help developers access and manipulate the data directly, to use in their own way.

Still looking for feedback, just marking this as resolved as it is not a support request.

Or I could mark it as “not a support question” as I’ve just done…

Thank you Jan, I didn’t realise I could do that after I had posted.

In the list view, it would be nice if the tweets could carousel vertically. In an endless loop.

Thank you for the suggestion KoolJoe and for the review, I appreciate you letting others know about your experience.

I am currently re-writing the Slider/Fader script and will look into adding the ability to scroll a list too.

Is a scrolling list the ideal format? Or would you prefer a list which you can then extend by clicking ‘See more Tweets’ at the bottom?

I’d like buttons to control the scrolling (on the user side).

It would also be nice to have an option to include retweets.

Great work though Peter, far better than the other Twitter Feed plugins available in terms of simplicity and the fact that this one actually works!

Is the code in a repository somewhere, happy to fork it and help make changes myself if it’s on Github.

    Hi mikeyotoole,

Sorry for the slow reply. Thank you for taking the time to post feedback about the changes you would like to see, we really appreciate it!

Luckily, I am working on both of these changes (and a few more) at the same time. You will soon be able to control the slider from the Widget options, as well as include ReTweets.

You will also be able to add more than one Twitter account, and then choose which account you would like to display in the Widget too.

It is great to hear that you found it easy to use, that is the most important thing to us.

It is currently on a private Bitbucket repo, but there have been several requests to see it and I have no reason to hide it. I will try and put it up on Github tomorrow and ill post back here to let you know.

Thanks again for taking the time to give us feedback and suggestions!

    Hi mikeyotoole,

I have setup the development version of the plugin on github, you can see it at: https://github.com/kebopowered/Kebo-Twitter-Feed

I just realised I should also note that the github repo contains many things that the plugin doesn’t. The /working/ folder contains the photoshop files used to create images. The /scss/ folder contains the SASS files which are compiled to CSS. Also, the /languages/ and /js/ folders are currently unused. The /languages/ will be used soon hopefully, but the /js/ is a remnant of a test and will be emptied again soon.

On top of that I just found a WordPress plugins mirror on github, so you can see the exact www.remarpro.com code here: https://github.com/wp-plugins/kebo-twitter-feed

    Filter feed by hashtags??

Say someone tweets about many things but only wants to show their photography related tweets on their photo blog…

    Hi orionis23,

That is a very interesting suggestion and it sounds very useful. I will look into how we could do this and I will let you know if/when it makes it in. I think it is very likely as I am making other similar changes at the moment.

Thank you for taking the time to make the suggestion, it is appreciated!

Has the plugin been updated yet to allow multiple Twitter accounts? I see you posted earlier you were working on this functionality, just wondered if it was possible yet or not.

    Thanks.

    Hi bpearce2001,

Not yet but it will do soon. This change also impacts many of the other discussed features and involves a change in the options for widgets, shortcodes, etc.

I am working on it all and I think it should be done within the next week or so.

    Hello Peter,

Will there be an option to exclude conversations on Twitter feed?

    Thanks.
