Ideal PHP memory level?

  • Hello – first, thanks for such a great free theme! If I read your FAQ in your manual correctly, the ideal PHP memory setting at the host/server is “4096M”? Which I believe is 4096 megabytes … or just over 4 gigabytes (4GB)?

    My host only allows PHP memory to be increased from 192MB to 768MB. Will this cause problems or limitations with the Bento theme?

    Hello @4thfront, thanks for choosing Bento, glad you like it! An ideal level for a php memory limit is not easy to define because it depends on so many parameters, including the theme, the plugins, as well as the server on which they all reside and the incoming visitor traffic. In case you’re not experiencing any memory-related issues on your website, I’d recommend leaving the php memory setting as it is.
