ideal payment option not selecting right bank

  • Hello,

    Recently when choosing the iDeal payment option when clicking to purchase it always reverts back to ‘ASN Bank’ which is not enabling customers to complete the purchase.

    Is this a bug with a recent update ??

    Hi @brndvnrdn

    This behavior is not caused by the Stripe plugin. You have some functionality on your site that’s reloading sections of your checkout page when the user scrolls. That reload causes the iDEAL and card integration to to also reload and the previous selection is not preserved.

    What could cause the reloading ? It was working well for a very long time… And I don’t really have anything special on the website. Could it be caused by the theme ?

    Yes, it’s possible your theme could be the culprit. I would try testing with a default theme like 2024 and seeing if that resolves the issue.

    The best way to test is by process of elimination.
