idea – shoutbox in wordpress

with so many shoutboxes available out tthere that can be incorporated in WP pretty darn easily? ??

Yeah, I am sure there is one you could just add:
<?php include('shout.php'); ?>
and be done with it. Not something really worth them spending time on ??
If you find one that was particularily good though, you may wish to bring it back here for others.

Yeah, there are lots out there that would be easy for a user to include in the way chuyskywalker suggests.
There’s also the fact that not all WP users would want a shoutbox and maybe some people wouldn’t know how to remove it?
Perhaps it would make a great plugin though.

I don’t even see why you need a shoutbox when you’ve got the commenting system on.
