    Hi @ummraiyaan,

Could you please make idea submitting public on your plugin settings so I can see it for myself on your site? This is the setting shown here: https://ps.w.org/ideapush/assets/screenshot-4.jpg?rev=1829703 called Guest Votes/Ideas (it should be yes so I can see). Thanks,

    Hi,

Thanks for teh quick response. I have updated the setting as requested. You should now be able to see it.

Also tried to upload an image but I get the error message that Chrome had been terminated (sorry if this makes no sense but translating literally from German to English).

    Many thanks!

    Hi,

I’m afraid the submit button is not working any more too.
I refresed the code, please try it at casesolver.nl

@ummraiyaan I think the issue you are experiencing has to do with Google ReCaptcha please see if this is setup correctly and a URL is entered into the Google Recaptcha service. Please see this image here for further assistance: https://imgur.com/7nudXiQ

@casesolver your issue is different and has to do with javascript errors on your website unrelated to the plugin. Please see these errors here: https://imgur.com/jLpq4Zm once these issues are resolved the plugin should function ok. The plugin uses javascript to submit the form and if there are critical errors created by your install, your theme or other plugins it may prevent IdeaPush from working correctly.

@ummraiyaan we have just updated our form protection to make it easier for users to setup. So please ignore my previous advice. What you should do is update the plugin, then go to the plugin settings and check the new setting “Enable Bot Protection”. This should solve your issue. Thanks

Ready, I deactivated several speed plug-ins and removed the gzip codes from .htacess. I then removed the ideapush plugin, but after reinstalling it appeared that the old contents of ideapush came back.

The submit-button worked, but … then a new idea did not create the ideas page. Then I deleted the ideapush plugin again and also the page with short code and all topics. Everything seems to work well after the second installation.

Question, does ideapush work through comments or does it need to have its own text box?

    Now I go pro

    Hi @casesolver,

What you said sounds complicated, but good to hear it seems to be working ok. What IdeaPush does it create a custom post type called ‘ideas’. IdeaPush tries to harness the built-in power or WordPress custom post types as much as possible. So the ‘create idea form’ on the plugin creates a custom post for ‘ideas’ so that the idea title acts as the post title and the idea description acts as the post body, the attachment acts as the featured image and the tags act as tags. When people comment on ideas it uses the WordPress comment system. I hope that answers your questions.
