    Hi Jacob,

    it’s me again with a crazy idea from my catastrophic brain ??
    As far as I understood and found you can use “Photo of the day” (potd) either for last uploaded _or_ another highlight of the gallery.
    Did you ever think about a possibility to have both possibilities or even more? Or is that already available and I was too blind to found it?
    i.e. in widget A – show last uploaded picture and in widget B – slide show of a special gallery and in widget C – show best rated photo …..
    Maybe these function could only used by using shortcodes, as it’s very special?!

    As I say – only an idea ??

    At any moment there is only one photo of the day. I tried to use inline settings to overrule this principle, but at the moment this also affcts other instances of the photo of the day on the same page (there is one ‘find the photo of the day id’ function according to the settings, that returns a possible previously found id to save speed).

    As i see your question, you should be able to accomplish what you want by using the WPPA+ Text widget. This widget supports shorcodes.

    If you can make what you want by shortcode, place it in such a widget. You can use photo="w#potd" for the photo of the day, and photo="w#last" for the most recently uploaded photo, and album="#topten,0,1" for an album with one top rated photo. If you want thsi photo single, use: [wppa type="slideonly" album="#topten,0,1"]
