Idea, make this menu open on desktop

    It would be nice if it will have the option to act as normal menu in wide screens, with option to hide theme menu.
    Also logo option and search will be nice for wide screens as page builders are so common those days

    Hi Prixer,

    Not sure if you mean you want to have the menu open on wide screens, or just the toggle bar appearing? The toggle bar can appear at any screen width just by not setting a breakpoint. The issue with having the panel visible at all times is that there’s no guarantee it’s not covering up content on the site – and it’s an expensive JS operation to tell if the panel is overlapping anything (and perhaps not possible to do generically). However, you can always use the included JS API to open the panel whenever you like, including on page load.

    Logo and search are options available in the Pro version ??

    Thank you chris for you answer,
    I use shiftnav in storefront theme and it working well also in wide screens.

    What I was asking is if on wide screens it can be like “normal” menu

    The plugin is specifically a mobile menu – you’d just hide it and use a different menu on desktop, such as the theme’s menu or UberMenu, to do that ??
