• I use multiple computers, often at the same time. I scan news and medical sites for work, and sometimes I’d like to make a note or copy a URL or something and have it (almost) immediately available on another computer (or to me later at home).

Often, I just end up sending an e-mail to myself, but that’s clumsy and interrupts my work flow. Or I make a note and save it to Dropbox, but I have to close out the file or it doesn’t always update to the other computer.

It strikes me that it would be very handy to have a page on my personal WordPress site in which I could enter the info, hit “save,” and have it show up on the same page on my other computer.

Such a page would be set to private of course, so regular visitors couldn’t see it. It would contain some type of field for entering information and storing it. It would be “front-end” so I could just leave it open in a tab and not have to skate around the back end of my site. It would appear in the main part of the page (not the sidebar) so the entry field could be of a decent size. And it would offer me a way to easily delete information I no longer need.

Is there anything like that out there? Or is there anyone who thinks this would be a cool coding idea? I’m not a programmer in any sense of the word, but I thought it couldn’t hurt to ask.

    Thanks,

    Peter
