Idea/feature request: Add to menu

    Now there seems to be no way to add to Home screen, if the user dismisses the first time the “Add to Home screen” is shown.

    To enable the user to add it later, here are 3 suggestions:
    1) Menu item that can be added to WordPress menu (similar to eg Language switchers)
    2) Setting 1: show to user each X activations meaning that the user will be shown the Add to home screen prompt every 5 times he/she accesses the site
    3) Setting 2: as above but with timer: show “Add to Home screen” again after X minutes.

  • The add to home screen prompt comes from the browser, not the website.
    So I don’t think any of this is possible.

    You could link to a page explaining how the user can install to home screen through the browser settings if they have dismissed the previous prompts?
