• One problem that one can easily encounter is that android device don’t do UV yet and needing to disable it on a pc to login on the android device then create a platform credential and then re enabling is quite annoying especially if a pc isn’t close at hand, one idea against that could be a random secret passed into a url to bypass uv enforcement (or even the extension altogether and enable password login, depending on taste) could be a cool idea, especially as quite a few other secure login extensions i saw had such a bypass url available and could be kept safe somewhere to get back in in case of some emergency.

    That’s a great idea and I’ll definitely look into it. This may introduce security risks so this need to be designed carefully and the result may be different from what you mentioned.
