• I’ve been around WordPress since it’s early days and we’ve launched 2,000+ sites on it, so I rarely get excited about anything in the WP realm, but I had to leave a glowing review for this one. It honestly blew my mind. Yes, it’s more than just good.
    1. Simple to set up. Just use the Wizard and it will do the stuff in the background. While there are pretty awesome solutions like WPRocket that are fast to set up, I always felt like to get maximum performance I had to piece together multiple plugins and manually configure all of them. This thing seems to do it all.
    2. Real, tangible, visible improvements. I ran through multiple speed testing platforms for multiple sites – they all start showing up 98-99% optimization numbers both for desktop and mobile which pretty much never happened to me before. Also, just subjectively browsing in an incognito window I can feel that pages load at the awesome speed.
    3. No visual glitches due to overoptimization. I’ve only tested it for a few days on a few sites yet, so I may update this later if some hiccups happen but so far so good (fingers crossed). Previously I was hesitant to do more technical improvements as often they lead to something suddenly not working and pages showing up glitchy. I’ve been clicking around and the only thing was, on some pages it seems that Hero image (on the very top) is using lazyload so it loads with a slight delay. Probably could load it instantly. Maybe it just appears so and I’m wrong.
    4. Very generous free tier. You are getting ALL improvements. The only thing is a small ad at the footer. For those with decent businesses I’d suggest just supporting devs and buying a premium version to get rid of the footer ad.

The only thing I wish someone (maybe this team) could come up with is a plugin to improve Admin console loading speed. In some of our client sites with Woocommerce and tons of plugins, Admin gets pretty slow and I haven’t found a good solution for that but that’s a story for another day.

Thank you for such a high assessment and detailed feedback!

Admin can be slower due to optimization uses server power. So, as an option, we can decrease CPU using, increase cache TTL (to minimize cache revalidation).

Also, lazy loading of any image can be turned off by adding related XPath selector to lazy exclusions.

Thanks for your tips, but I take back the ‘lazy load of the first image’ concern. There’s no issue at all.

Also, my note about admin being slow is not the stone in your garden. I don’t think your plugin increased the admin performance. It was a general statement. I’m just hopeful that someone comes up with a plugin that can speed up WP Admin for sites with tons of plugins. Some of my clients have upgraded to pretty costly tiers of Cloud servers but the admin side still looks a bit sluggish.
