id attribute is not unique – site navigation menu

Hi there,

In order to make my website more accessible, I ran a scan with Deque and the issue “Ensures every id attribute value is unique” keeps popping up for the menu displayed on each page.

They propose to do the following to resolve one of the issues:
Document has multiple static elements with the same id attribute: menu-item-1231
Related Nodes:

I have only ever worked with visual builders in WP and don’t know how to fix this issue. I have already created a separate menu for the header and the footer but this hasn’t solved the issue.
