• From the Codex , I’ve checked that it’s valid to have the following nav structure by having Reading Settings = Front Page (Home), Posts Page (Latest):

    Home(Page) – Latest(Posts) – Page1 – Page2 etc

[A static page (select below) – Check this radio button to cause a “static” Page to be displayed as your blog’s front page. At the same time, choose the Page that will display your actual Posts. The Front page and Posts page cannot be the same value]

With this structure, the Page1-Pagen pages are showing the Breadcrumbs & Icon + Page Title before the contents. The Latest page (Posts) is showing neither.

Can see the code in parts\class-content-content.php but my PHP skills are not good enough to fix it.

    Can anyone help please?

  • Could you explain what precisely you want your page layout to be? It’s difficult to understand in the above which bits are OK for the Codex and what you want to achieve for your site.

I think there’s a flaw and that the Use-Case of showing A Front Page + Post page has been missed.

All the Pages (except Front Page & Post page) display the Breadcrumb followed by Icon + Page Title followed by featurette-divider.

Front Page shouldn’t display Breadcrumb or Icon + Page Title or featurette-divider.

Problem is that Post page launches into posts. There is a featurette-divider at the top but there should be a Breadcrumb and Icon + Page Title above it.

I think there is missing code in class-content-content.php but not clever enough (yet) to fix it!
