    Awesome fonts loaded.

while admin – mode, page editing, select icon, no icon is displayed. only hover-text. icon table-cells are empty.

but after publishing, icon is shown.

Ok, are you using the default setting? Font Awesome 4.7? I am not sure but maybe there is some conflict with your theme or an other plugin that is also using font awesome or the font awesome class names. I have a fresh install here on WordPress 6.11 Twenty Tweny Two theme and only this plugin and no problems while editing a page. Can you try with all plugins disabled? Also if using a free theme please let me know which one.

Hi, i am using this plugin on two sites with wordpress 6.1.1
One is running WP theme twentytwentytwo, the other one twentyseventeen.
It worked before on the twentytwentytwo ~1month ago, but is broken right now. I cannot get it to work in twentyseventeen.
I guess it’s related to deprecation warnings, which only appear if plugin is active. There is a warning that will become critical with WP 6.2
Probably, this is coming a bit earlier and is already causing some error right now (wp.components.IconButton deprecated) , although I cannot see javascript errors in debugger or php errors in error_log. I have a screenshot but cannot add here unfortunately.
Thank you for having a look at this!

The deprecation errors are now fixed. A known issue for now is that the icons do no show in the site editor screen. The site editor screen uses an iframe and the CSS needed can not be loaded in the iframe as needed. The regular page edit screen should be working fine. I am not going to fix the issues in the site editor untill this is out of Beta.

What do you mean with “regular page edit”? i use gutenberg default edit 6.1.1 version.

    (@jorisvanmontfort)

That’s exactly what I mean. Some people are reporting errors in the Site Editor. De site editor is not supporterd by all themes ans seems to have it’s own issues.

Wich editor, i should use instead of default? do you have a suggestion for me, to use your plugin perfectly?

But, months ago, this was no problem, also in gutenberg!

The plugin works perfectly for me in all my websites, so I have no idea. It should work with Gutenberg and noting else. Have you udpated to 1.1.9?

I use theme twentytwenty, WP 6.1.1 with default editor. maybe any FontAwesome – Problems to load them in ADMIN – Mode? You wrote something about iFrame, with no access to cloudflare or embed css/font?

maybe a problem with fontawesome because of consent – things?

    (@jorisvanmontfort)

The twentytwenty theme with WP 6.1.1 and default editor have no probelems on my local machine. If you want me to have a look at a live website please send me an email: jorisvanmonfort at gmail.com with a WordPress login.

The iframe issue is in the in the site editor and only with themes that support full site editing. For example twenty twenty two.
