Icons Stopped Working Randomly

    I had a phone, envelope, and user icon in the top bar of my site I linked. Was working on a product filter and saw the icons were displaying as shortcodes. I ended up just removing the icons and the plugin with them, but if I can get some insight on the issue I will use the plugin again. I’m using Storefront theme with WooCommerce and some other small plugins, nothing that I believe should have interfered with the plugin.

    Hi there,

    If you’re seeing shortcodes, that means that whatever field/input is used to output the icons is simply not rendering the shortcodes. This could happen if the plugin is disabled, or if your theme setup does not render shortcodes in that top bar (shortcodes typically don’t render in many output contexts unless explicitly enabled). This is very likely the case if the shortcodes are rendering in certain places, but not others.

    The shortcodes worked fine, but they randomly stopped working suddenly and changed from the icon to the shortcode after I was doing some editing. The icons I was using in the top bar were the only icons I used through the plugin, the other FontAwesome icons I have come with the Storefront theme, but those work okay.

    Hmm, it sounds like the plugin was deactivated since the shortcodes aren’t rendering at all. Can you confirm the plugin is still active?
